The Truth about Juicing

Juicing_Feature

Well let’s start by saying juicing is amazing! Juicing is great for people who are experiencing weight gain and want a healthy way to lose the weight. Juicing is when you extract the liquids or liquefy specific fresh fruits and/or vegetables into a shake or drink. The liquids extracted from the juice and vegetables are filled with minerals, vitamins, antioxidants and anti inflammatory compounds.

The primary benefit of juicing is weight management. Juicing allows you to absorb all the nutrients from the vegetables. According to studies people tend to develop impaired digestion due to less than ideal food choices. Juicing helps breaking down the fruits and vegetables which allows for easier absorption. Juicing allows the individual to also consume a large amount of vegetables in an efficient manner.

Juicing has so many perks and health benefits to a person but unfortunately this can also cause reverse effects on the body if not done correctly. When you make the decision to commit to juicing they are a few precautions that you should consider before diving into juicing. The first step is to wean yourself off of poultry, the reason behind this is if you drop all that protein and carbohydrates the body can go into shock and can cause you to feel ill and fatigued. Juicing can cause you to lose muscle mass and unfortunately when the weight comes back it will be more than likely be gained as fat.  In order to juice you must be extremely committed because of temptation and the expense of the process is quite high.

For those who juice mainly to lose weight, the spiced green tea drink is a way to speed up metabolism and also burn calories.  The drink includes strong chilled green tea, cayenne pepper lemon juice, agave nectar, pear and fat free plain yogurt. All of the ingredients are great for loosening excess waste and clearing the intestinal tracts. However for those who use juicing as a way to naturally get needed vitamins and minerals they are different recipes used to meet those needs. The coconut-kale-ginger juice is a green juice that is great for people who are into fitness and need that extra boost of energy. The shake is packed with vitamin A, C and K, all pertinent supplements for the body.
